Get where line trace exits

I am shooting a line trace from the player and hitting an . I then am firing a line trace from the hit location through the . I want to get when the line trace leaves the or when it is out in the air. Anyone have any ideas?

To my knowledge, line trace works on contact. Unless it hits something, I doubt you will get any results.

I may be proven wrong though.

Is there some way to get the depth of an then?

Not that I have seen, but post another question with that as title, more likely to get your answer.

Just trace the exact same line but switch the start and end.

This wouldn’t necessarily work if there is another that could be hit on the other side.

Use the multi trace where you get all the hits. Then find the hit on the same . but it will now be on the other side.
