I’ve seen quite a bit about applying materials to multiple meshes in a map, but how can I set the material for multiple static meshes such that the updates are recognised outside of a map?
Afaik that is currently not possible.

hmm… is there a way to import an FBX with materials and then exchange materials in an automated fashion? that could do the trick!

looking into making a script that can do this.
