Mesh with different elements from Maya?

Hey, does somebody know how to create a mesh in Maya with different elements for applying different materials for each one in Unreal Engine? Thanks!

I think you simply create a model in Maya with multiple materials applied to it and it should import into Unreal Engine with multiple material slots.

Yeah it worked! By the way, do you know how to allign or edit in someway the material of a face (or element) of a static mesh?

You can not edit UV of static mesh in EU4. All edit, your must do in MAYA.

It must be done in a 3D modeling program like Maya or 3Ds Max, Just change the material applied to each section and UE4 will detect it.

In Maya just select the faces you want, hold right click and choose apply new material. (use a lambert for ease)
