Beam emitter spawn event generator
I'm trying to make a lightning effect, i finally got the beam to work how i want but now i'm having trouble making an actual flash. I tried using event generator and receiver so that on spawn a particle with a light would flash. However this doesnt work since the beam isnt actually emitting particles, the spawn is set to 0 but there is just a beam that changes position and flashes with alpha. This is the only way i could get a beam that flashes with interval.
Is there an alternative to event generators that i could use to sync up the flashing lightning with the light flash?
