Leap Motion UE4 Official plugin laggy

Hey Guys,

I am currently experimenting with Leap Motion’s official plugin for Unreal Engine 4.
However, it appears to be a bit buggy.
For example:

  • The left hand is a ‘mirror’ of the right hand and because of this it’s flickering
  • Whenever I use realistic hands, the basic hands/bones remain visible (as seen in the figure below)

Full video of my test can be seen here: Leap Motion test - YouTube. I somehow managed to stop the flickering of the left hand, but afterwards the right hand seemed to be working worst (this wasn’t the case before).

The guy in this video got it working pretty well: UE4 Leap Motion Test 01 - YouTube.
Could you guys give me some advice on how to get it working like that?
