Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

[Closed] Where did the EXE in the package root go?

While not life threatening, I am curious about what happened to the executables that used to be included in every package I created. In previous builds, there was an executable in the WindowsNoEditor folder which was nice since it saved some time digging deeper into the project binaries folder. But now I can't find this .exe anymore and I'm not sure why.

The executable seemed to disappear when I upgraded the engine from 4.6 to 4.7, so I'm curious if 4.7 simply doesn't automatically create a shortcut for you anymore. Otherwise, I probably nudged a setting to something incorrect; if there is any configuration value that handles this then could some one point me towards it?

One last thing to mention is that all my packages are set to Development, Windows 64-bit.

Product Version: UE 4.7
