Video driver crash error on UT Startup

Hello, I’m having trouble on starting Unreal Tournament. I already looked for answers but others kinda didn’t help me, so I’m sorry for having to ask this again. Whenever I try to launch the game, the screen goes black for a while. I assume that’s normal. Yet after it told me to wait a while because it needs to set up the best video settings I get thrown back onto my desktop and I get an error saying: “Video driver crashed and was reset! Make sure video drivers are up to date.” I also included my dxdiag file below. Thanks for helping out.

Hi Spilight,

Have you recently updated your video card drivers? The dxdiag lists that the most recent update was in February, try updating to the most recent drivers and see if that fixes the error. We haven’t established a minimum spec just yet, but we recommend that people have at least the min recommended specs for Unreal Engine 4 at this time. Definitely subject to change and it can definitely run on lesser systems. Give it a try! A new, community-hosted Unreal Engine Wiki - Announcements - Epic Developer Community Forums

Yes! That made it work for me. Thanks so much for your help! The game still runs with a low framerate but I guess that’s just because my PC kinda sucks. I’m still having lots of fun playing! Thanks again. :3
