I am thinking of submitting the content I have made to the Unreal Marketplace but I am using a variety of modified and unmodified assets from the Starter Content and from the Third Person Template. Can I include these assets in my product?
Hi! Including modified starter content is fine. Just make sure that you don’t include unmodified or unnecessary assets from the starter content or anything from someone else’s pack and you should be fine.
what does modified mean? currently i am using the third person mesh and animation from the third person example map as a base enemy in my content. Is this ok?
Yes. Starter content is fine. We’ve gotten a few submissions that included the entire starter content folder in the past. We just ask that people only include content that they are actually using in their pack.
