4.8p4 black screen when switch to Oculus

Just want to ask if this is currently an issue with 4.8p4 Oculus. When I play the game in standalone, it’s fine. As soon as I hit alt-enter, it switches to the Oculus, but the screen is just black.

With the same game running in 4.7.6, it was working.

I also want to note that when I have the issue, I can still see the “Lighting needs to be built” warning. But everything else is black.

I am running Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.3, Oculus runtime and SDK 5.01.

Having the same problem here, on runtime 0.4.4, 0.5.0 and 0.6.0 as well. Epic, any thoughts? Thanks!

I haven’t tested this yet, but has anyone done so on the new Official release of UE4.8?

Same issue on UE4.8 official release. Just converted a project I had in 4.7, and the screen is all black

Also tried the official 4.8 release now and created a new Project from FirstPerson Example. When running in Standalone mode and pressing alt+enter main screen and oculus remain black.

This other thread I opened seems to be a duplicate of this thread.

I am running Mac with UE4.9.2. It doesn’t detect Oculus as well. alt+enter is just normal full screen and VR preview button is always grey. Tried restart Editor , Oculus and my Mac as well. Didn’t work…
