Launch version is broken

I am currently struggling with an issue whereby the launch version of my game is buggy in several ways, whereas the PIE version works fine. For instance, some of my NPCs’ anim blueprints aren’t working properly (specifically they do not work at all for a few minutes, and then some random event will cause them to work properly again), and there are also objects which the player should be able to walk up on, but instead are thrown off, as if the blueprint settings were different. Occasionally the launch will crash when I collide with my NPCs, which never happens on the PIE version.

Does anyone know what could cause this behavior? I have tried this on both my PC and laptop, and both produce the same effect even if the settings are different. I have also tested it on the 4.8 versions, however they are even worse, often producing completely false behavior before crashing completely.

I would greatly appreciate help on this issue, as it would be nice to record footage of the aforementioned NPCs with functioning anim blueprints in the launched version of the game (it would also look quite awkward with all these other issues as well).
