So i click on any of x y or z-and rather than the usual being able to edit or change the variables happening i get some very fast lasso like tool around the variable but then once that has flashed i have no longer any selection on the variable in other words i have no way to change it cause i cannot select it.
Ok i do know why it was happening.
So in short i had an xbox controller plugged into my computer which somehow ment my selection in the transofrm was moving to the left to the details panel on the opposite side.
