Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Texturing a static mesh

I did create a static mesh in Blender with Textures and export it as a .fbx File. Than I import it in UE4, I used a Texture over the static mesh and the Texture is really big and have a bad quality. Normally I would hit the Alignment button but it is not present by editing a static mesh. What can I do?

Sorry for my bad English and Thanks :)

Product Version: UE 4.7

You need to create a texture UV map in Blender and export it along with your model in the FBX file. While you are at it,. you can then also create a second UV set for the lightmaps. You can of course create these in the UE editor, but doing it in the 3D appliocation will give you more control over the result.
