Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How to "mix" textures?

Hello. Now I've added some material with normals to my floor and see, that floor looks like as if the same texture is repeated many times.

Is it possible randomly mix one (one by it self) or more (one to another) textures for more natural ground look?

There are a couple of ways to hide repeating textures. One is using a grunge or smoke alpha map as the Alpha input of a Lerp node to mix 2 textures with different tiling and pattern. You can find examples of this in most of the Epic contents. Another one is mesh painting, which requres the mesh to have a more dense topology in order to paint easily.
