How do I install UE4?

I want to make games with ue4 and I need to know how to get the software. I have downloaded and installed it twice but I can’t find the software I need to begin working on it. Can someone tell me how? And please be very specific and step-by-step

I’m just going to be open and completely honest with you. I don’t want to come off as being mean or anything, but if you can’t understand how to install and open the engine itself, you’re not going to understand how to use 99% of the things inside it. Let alone, create your own assets in a 3rd party program and ultimately make a game. Sorry, man. Have you looked at any Youtube tutorials for installing UE4?

yeah I looked one of them up after I posted this. I just didn’t know that I needed to do it from the epic games launcher. everything’s good now.
