Stat Unit: Draw and GPU have same values despite a powerful CPU.

Core i5-2500k @4.5Ghz

Geforce GT-240 1gb

UE 4.7.6

As I understand it, the Draw time is the CPU render thread, and from all the online examples I’ve followed Draw and GPU were never so close to be the same. This screenshot is from RealisticRendering project file and is the same in all projects.

My GFX card is underpowered so 46.22ms is understandable but still, my 2500k is more than capable of handling any heavy rendering, then why is the draw being limited by the GPU??

My processor is stable working excellent at all other tasks.

Is there framerate smoothing enabled? It would cause the draw thread to wait to keep the framerate down.

I’ve tried disabling that, no luck.

Same issue on 4.12.3

Strangely enough hovering my mouse on the marketplace icon fixes the issue for me, worth trying. I’m almost sure this is a engine bug!
