Problem with importing Animations from fuse

Hello, i’m rather new at at working with UE4, and i decided to create a fun project with a Character i made in Fuse. So i had no problems importing the Character itself, but when it came to importing some animations like walking, i ran into the error “Failed to import ‘C:\Users\admin\Desktop\animations\Walk.FBX’. Failed to create asset ‘/Game/StarterContent/Character/test/Animations/Walk’”

I’ve tried using other animations that was made directly from Mixamo that worked fine with the character i made in Fuse.

Hey man, been messing with FUSE → Unreal a lot lately. Here’s what i’d suggest.

  1. import FUSE model (ex: Mikey) into Mixamo, autorig it.
  2. make sure your animations: (ex: walking) are on the Mikey model, not on the Mixamo example skeletons.
  3. download as “FBX for Unreal” - not as a regular FBX. ** I’m sure there might be a way to get these to work anyway, since not every animation has this option, like their dog for instance, but I haven’t messed with it yet. **
  4. Import what you want into UE4 and it should work!
