4.8 consistently crashes when opening or placing blueprint containing child actors

The blueprint is migrated from a 4.7 version project. A blueprint without child actors can be opened (but takes horrible long to open).

You mention migrating the blueprint from 4.7. Just to clarify, you migrated the asset directly from a 4.7 project to a 4.8 project without converting, correct?

If so, I suggest converting the 4.7 project to 4.8 first, then migrating any blueprints over to your new project. If you don’t do this, there can sometimes be compatibility issues. This could be the root cause of all the 4.8 issues that you mentioned here.
