Can't assign Landscape layers to Target Layers 4.8

I am following the Quick Start Grass Tool Tutorial from the documentation and part where I want to assign Landscape layers to Target Layers and drag and drop the landscape layers to the particular target layers, it still showing none.

Is there something m missing, I followed step by step from the doc.

Hi ,

Can you show me the setup you have for your material? Additionally, are you using weight blended or non-weight blended layers?

here is the material and layer blend setup

I am using weight-blended layer(normal).

Have you attempted to actually paint on the landscape with these values? If you select either grass or rock, despite it saying none in the dropdown, have you been able to paint?

I am able to paint on the landscape and when I restart the project it didn’t showed none but somehow when I create the layer for the first time and try it assign it, it still shows none.

I was able to reproduce this on my end and have entered a bug report, UE-17060, to be assessed by the development staff.
