Hey MarkusR,

Thank you very much for noticing this issue when duplicating blueprints which include ‘cast to’ nodes within them. I have submitted a bug report to our developers which can be referred to as: UE-17073. If you have any further questions, please reply back and I will be more than happy to assist you further.

Have a great day!

Hey MarkusR,

I wanted to let you know that this issue was just verified as fixed in a non-released version of 4.9. With that being said, you should see this blueprint issue resolved once 4.9 is released.

If you have any further questions, please let us know. Have a great day!

hi ,
thanks for reply.
ot
unfortunately this engine/editor have issues with my pc and i can not work well with it.
for some inexplicable reason often this editor go in freeze state and i must hit reset button.
currently i continue with unity. there i have a better progress and less latency time.
but the main reason was that unity is much easier at importing and setting up physic collision shapes at
assets with a hierarchy. my target was a working forklift in game.

It’s possible that your computer does not have the recommended specifications to run the engine, or you have a program conflicting with it, such as an anti-virus.

If you’d like to give UE4 another try, I would suggest comparing your computer specifications against the following as well as shutting down all firewall and anit-virus related programs and seeing whether or not that makes a difference. Or you may have a program that is using too much memory alongside UE4.

What are Unreal Engine 4’s system requirements?
For developing with UE4, we recommend a desktop PC with Windows 7 64-bit or a Mac with Mac OS X 10.9.2 or later, 8 GB RAM and a quad-core Intel or AMD processor, and a DX11 compatible video card. UE4 will run on desktops and laptops below these recommendations, but performance may be limited.

If you have any further questions, please let us know. For now, I will be marking this question as resolved.

Have a great day!
