Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Office Holiday

Epic Games' offices will be on holiday from June 22nd to July 7th. During this period support will be limited. Our offices will reopen on Monday, July 8th. 

Android Questions

I have some Android questions. 1. How do i Sign my application? An apk must be signed to be able to be uploaded to the google play market. 2. How can i implement admob to my game/app? 3. Giant files! For example the game Tappy Chicken, it's around 28 MB. How can my game be around that size? If i package my project it quickly ends up with 0.5 GB! Appreciate answes! -Traczy

  2. UE$ got iAd and AdMob support build in https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/236564/android-admob-blueprint-integration.html

  3. You could disable diffrent texture compressions and just use ETC1 or ETC2 which work on most mobile GPUs, also if you want to shrink engine code by playing with build scripts in, you will need engine source for that, but i'm not sure how to do it
