Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How do i fix this wall lighting/shader/material inconsistency bug?

alt textWhen putting two walls/boxes next to each other I noticed that the material ( standard white wall material ) looked lighter one one of the walls than it did on the other ones as if that specific box/wall was receiving more light. - Yes i did build the lighting. - Yes i applied the same material on both of them.

Every suggestion is appreciated, thank you in advance

Hi JOMEE -

This is actually not a bug, but you will need to make some adjustments to your World Settings, Lightmass Settings to help eliminate the line between the two meshes. Change the Indirect Lighting Quality to 4 and the Indirect Quality Smoothness to 0.75. You can also increase the Lightmap resolution.

I would recommend having a look at our Lighting Troubleshooting Guide, found here:
