Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Post processing material doesn't work in 4.8

I just opened my project in 4.8 and my post processing material doesn't work anymore. I get 2 errors but I don't know what they mean: Error [SM5] warning X3206: implicit truncation of vector type Error [SM5] error X4510: maximum ps_5_0 sampler register index (16) exceeded I never got those errors in 4.7

Product Version: UE 4.8

Turns it was because I had more then 16 textures used in my post processing material. Yet I didn't get the error in 4.7 with that material. I however had it some time before there but the error message was much more clear with mentioning textures. My guess is there has something changed that doesn't take switches in account anymore.
