Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hi saintg,

Do you have another graphics card in your machine besides the VMware SVGA 3D? From what I can gather, that card only supports up to Directx 9. A Directx 11 compatiable card is recommended in order to run the Launcher/Engine.

Here is what we recommend:

  • Desktop PC with Windows 7 64-bit or a Mac with Mac OS X 10.9.2 or later

  • 8 GB RAM

  • Quad-core Intel or AMD processor

  • DX11 compatible video card

Cheers,

TJ

Thanks for your reply. I did some checking and apparently since I am running this on a VM the only driver I can get is the one listed above because it is provided by VMWare fusion and they say they do not support DX11. My option is to run on the host system which is a Mac. Thanks again for your reply.
