Try to install: Windows SDK archive - Windows app development

I hope that will help!

I am not able to compile the Editor on Windows 7 using Visual Studio 2013 Express for Windows Desktop.

I have installed all the dependencies including the June 2010 DirectX End-User Runtimes.

installed the above SDK but I am still receiving the same compilation error(s).

I ran the same process on a different machine and the engine compiled fine.

The machine in which it fails has several versions of visual studio installed along with what apperas to be a lot of different Mircrosoft SDKs installed. Is there anything that could be causing the above conflict? Sorry if this is basic but I don’t have a ton of experience with Windows development.

I finally was able to get the engine to compile.
