How to make a Skeleton for UE4?

Up until now I have used Bipeds as skeletons for my characters. Now I noticed that Bipeds in 3ds max have their Root bone in the pelvis and not at 0, 0, 0 which is required for root motion (this fact should be added to the UE4 skeleton page basic rules). How do I make a character skeleton with a root bone at 0, 0, 0; which i can easily animate in 3ds max?

You could have a bone that is set at 0-0-0 with no weight paint or vertex groups and parent you’re pelvis bone to it
