4.8.1 project. Im working in a BPI (blueprint interface) but could be other places too? When typing in a search for a varaible type say “S_” without the quotes (for my structures) and then press [CTRL]+[A] to select it all when you press [Shift]+[aLetterLikeSForExample] it doesnt replace the selected text and instead appends the capital letter to the end, still selected.
Same in blueprints when you take a comment bubble and do a CTRL+A to select all the text, it selects all the nodes, which is less annoying but can be slightly annoying sometimes and is very visually distracting.

Also from 4.7.6 to 4.8.1 I’ve noticed alot of BP nodes dont copy-paste manually over. Delays come to mind and some others a lot of pure functions like append string and getDisplayName. AGain very minor.
When I hit CTRL+A while the search field is still highlighted, it simply highlights the text within the field for easy erasing. If I use any other letter, it seems to actually delete the last letter or do nothing at all.
When I use CTRL+A in the blueprint editor while the comment text highlighted, it allows me to reword what’s written in the node. If the text is not highlighted, then it selects the actual blueprint nodes as well.
When you say that there are nodes that do not copy over well, could you please explain exactly where you’re doing when you’re copying and pasting them? Which nodes are they?
