Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Moving from 4.7 to 4.8 breaks destructible mesh settings

I have a few destructible meshes that I created in PhysX Labs, and they worked fine with unreal 4, tweaking the damage threshold and whatnot in engine worked great. The actors didn't all collapse at once but could have pieces chipped away from them. But when I moved the project to 4.8, all of the settings are ignored, no matter what I change, even bumping into or walking over the DMs causes them to fracture. I even tried tweaking the settings and reimporting from PhysX Labs but it didn't help. It feels like Unreal 4 is completely ignoring any and all settings I set on the DM, whether I do it from PhysX Labs or within the engine itself.
