Hi,
I’ve been using UE 4.7 for some time and given how much I enjoyed it, I decided to try the new 4.8.1 when it was released. I’ve been trying to install it for a while now without success. It always returns me the message “The installation has been corrupted”. I’ve included all the logs from my last attempt to install it.
My PC:
-Windows 7 (64bits);
-Intel i5 (1° gen, unfortunately), 2.8 GHz;
-RAM - 4Gb;
-Nvidia geforce GTS 450 (2Gb)

Take a look at our Launcher Troubleshooting Guide if you have not already. I will say the launcher recommends a DX11 compatible graphics card and a quad core processor.

My video card is compatible with DX11, and I’m not fully sure if my processor is quad core, but I think it is (specially since 4.7 works just fine). I’ve been trying to run the “verify” command over and over again the past few days. I don’t know why, but after 8 or 9 times and several extra downloads/updates (I’m not sure which one was the launcher doing) it finally worked. There is nothing (that I’ve seen) in the Launcher Troubleshooting Guide about this, but it’s working now, so I’m happy hehehe
