Mac OSX Mavericks - Export High Resolution Video - No Frame Skipping

Hi All,
I am experimenting with unreal engine on Mac OSX Mavericks.

I am looking to export a 1920x1080 30fps matinee from Unreal 4.8. When I use the “Movie” button, the rendering comes out pretty choppy. I have a decent GTX graphics card, quad core i7 processor, and a solid state hard drive.

I found this for windows that people claim to have made work: (this might be a bit dated)

Does anybody know of the Mac and Linux equivalents to this command line export?

Hate to bump this, but does anybody have any experience with the above problem or could offer a pointer in the correct direction?
