How do I load my custom model Rig and animation in Unreal Engine

I trying to import whole test scene in UE4 from Maya animation with characters face expressions and dialogs - YouTube This project I do for understanding copability UE4 for render and spacially matinee cinematic tools.

Fbx showing only mestakes and troble. Alembic is not avaleble now in UE4.
White a pipeline I need to do in my case? I sow a lot animatics using in unreal, how they did it?

The cinematics you’ve seen are just using the basic Unreal import pipeline for animations, blendshapes and skeletal meshes. You can download the Boy & His Kite demo from the Marketplace for free to see how they did everything.

Hello Jmalaska. Thank you for your letter. Yes, I did revue how Unreal team did Boy & His Kite demo a while ago and I find they using really basic set up for project and bridge animation epic tool in maya - its working fine, as it should, but what I am looking for is not simple and basic - I looking for pipeline for cartoon + game big project for tv online and UE4 probably what I am looking for (I did some test in Unity, but I more trust UE then Unity). I need one render image for all game and tv and create one smoth working path for all. Custom rig is so hard, some cases is not empossible import to UE so FBX, as a import bridge tool is not working fine. Example - http://www.boutique23.com/characters/18-gumosa.html good rig for cartoon character, but is no way to import this staff in UE and render it with Matenie. If alembic will avalable it make so simple - no drop frame, no problem with rig, no problem with import ex… that my story)) I need some how create simple and smoth pypeline and render it and introduce for producers as solution for next generation of cartoon - now including interactive online game)) any solutions?

It’s still possible, just a lot more work. Until they release Alembic support, you’ll probably have to avoid any complex rig setups outside of blendshapes and joints (e.g. clusters, lattices, etc.)

Its SAAAAD that in 4.9 not support alembic. One of ideas was import
Geometry cache (alembic) by Houdini engine and render it inside UE4, but in a forum I find -"plugin does not support animation at the moment. The plugin is still in beta and we have a long list of features / improvements in mind, animation is definitely one of them. " Forums | SideFX This would be a game changer if we could render alembics using ue4…
