Setting multiple static mesh as "Use Complex collision as Simple"

Hi I found where this question has been asked before but I am not sure if this has changed with 4.8 because the options no longer seems to be there.

I am importing fbx files from 3dsmax that were revit files (Architecture) and would like to set all of the meshes “Collision Complexity” as “Use Complex Collision As Simple”

In the linked answerhub question below somone gave these instructions that do not work for me, did the option change? did I import wrong?

"Select all your meshes at once in the Content Browser

Right-click any of them and select Property Matrix in the pop-up menu

Ctrl+A in the property editor to select all

Change Collision Complexity in the right-hand panel to the desired value

Ctrl+S to save changes to all the meshes"

Did you try, when you select all the assets you want changed, right click one of the meshes then go to Asset Options>Bulk Edit via Property Matrix or is this not the problem?

This worked for me. I was selecting all SM in my world outliner and pressing the property matrix button. I think that was my problem. Thank you for your reply

how do you do that in version 4.16.3?
i don’t have that option.

thanks

So far i am spending more time trying to find what commands are removed in 4.16 than working on my game!

I’m unsure how the Property Matrix functions, thanks for advising on the following. I import hundreds of component fbx meshes of a scan-based cave set with Auto Generate enabled for Collision. Because of the hull shapes these meshes take on in RealityCapture, the player character is often locked out from flying close to ceilings, into deep voids, etc. so I’ve been having to go in individually to set mesh object to Complex Collision and Collision Complexity to Use Complex Collision as Simple, save, and go to the next one and a hundred others. I’m searching a way to edit this property(s) for a selected group. I can open this selection into Property Matrix, see various settings under Collision, but not the ones I’m after. Can I add to the default list? Is there a solution otherwise. Many thanks, would save a ton of time.

I have the same problem, can you fix this in future updates of Unreal Engine, please?

Thank you. Nice solution
