UE4.8.1 Upgrade, CPU Overload!

I’ve just upgraded my project from 4.7.6 to 4.8.1 and when i open the project it loads with the splash screen and gets all the way up to 95% then it stops, all 6 cores in my cpu are at 100% load and the unreal engine process is still active and yet it won’t load?

Maybe the engine is compiling shaders? ShaderCompileWorker.exe check your process if there are ShaderCompileWorker.exe you have to wait.

If you have some rather complex shaders, it can take a while to compile them on first launch after upgrading engine versions. Did it ever finish compiling shaders or does it stay stuck at 95%?
