Object not pushing player properly

Hi, I am new to Unreal and I was playing around on a test map with some physics objects when I ran into a bug/problem. I have a blue print that spins a wall on its axis using “add relative rotation.” I have simulate physics on and when I walk into it, it works fine. However if I stand still it does not properly push my character.

I have included some gifs of the issue with me moving and not moving in PIE. I am using the standard fps template and 4.8. I did some reading up on the issue and it seams that it has something to do with the way the default player controller handles physics but I can’t find any solutions.

Any Ideas on how to fix this issue?

Okay so upon further exploration I found that inside of the collision view-port the wall shows up under visible collision but not player collision. Any one have any Ideas about why this might be?

you are going to let down with this reply but, did you find a way to make it work, this problem has been here since forever they don´t care to change it, and have posted some bad work arounds, I don´t get why it is so hard to make a ticket for programmers to take a look at this, this is not a fringe case of gameplay this can arise in any kind of game, there was someone having this problem with a door, a door can be in every game.
