  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

even without lights there are light

Hello,

I have tried to create an indoor environment with some light spots corresponding to lamps. I have some materials "emissive color" and lights. So far so good, but when I try to tune the lighting and create a more welcoming / specific environment, I can not. As much as off (no - Affects world) lights, counter the effect of materials with "emissive color," or whatever it may be, there is always light and bright. The settings are in: Quality: Epic Material: High Preview: shader model 5

Does anyone know what might be going on?

Maybe you can double check the lights by using the outliner. it is very useful. If it is still bright you may tune the auto exposure value which is located in the post process setting of your player camera. Let me know if this doesn't help.

I thanks for yours answer, i don`t understand what are the "by using the outliner" are the intensity on the details of light ? I go to Project Settings and turn off the "Auto Exposure", it seems ok. If you can, if it is possible to explain what it meant "by using the outliner" perhaps another situation could be useful or would be the complete solution to my problem, so if you can explain, thanks

An outliner is a window that used to display all the items ( actors and objects ) you placed in your map. For example: if you placed a light in your map, then the engine will add the light into your outliner. From outliner you can then see the light you placed displayed in it.

This is the screenshot of the ue4 outliner. You can find it in your editor: alt text

As you can see, I selected one of my actor in my level. Then it will be displayed the same in the outliner.

If you cant find this window then open it: alt text

You can also find and select all the lights in the outliner so you can check the lights easily :) Have a nice day !

Use a post process in your scene and set it to "Unbound" with the checkbox checked. Then set the auto-exposure (eye adaptation) to min and max of 1.0.

This is probably the eye adaptation for the scene cause the brightness that you're seeing.

Also if you have a SkyLight in your scene this can add light as well.
