how to change display size of bones and joints in animation editor?

Hello my joints and bones when viewed in animation editor are gargantuan and dwarf the model to say the least. is there a display size options in UE4 or do I need to scale them smaller in Maya instead?

From what I’ve seen so far, the bones in Unreal are scaled consistently, somewhere around 2 cm thick.

Are you importing a very small object? If you’re importing a character, it might be importing at too small a size.

You can change the visual scale of bones in the Skeletal Mesh Editor and the Skeleton Editor panels under the (Character) >Bones> popup menu in the viewport.

Pardon the bump but this just came up on google as an answer to this question so figured it should be the correct info.
