Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hi derko666,

No, we do not currently have the option to look at the orthographic Side View from the opposite side (or the Front view from the Back, etc).

Have you found a strong need for this during your level design?

Thanks for your response, Stephen. Yes, this feature would be very convenient, especially that i'm making a side scroller game and it's hard to design a level, because everything in this view is turned 180 degrees. (I'm working on side scroller template).

I also think that would be a great addition to Unreal Engine's Editor. It shouldn't be hard to implement that one, should it?

I agree this would be a useful addition, seeing as I use 3DS Max for modelling and I have the option to choose from Front/Back, Left/Right, Top/Bottom viewing angles, then coming to UE4 where I only have the 3 Front/Side/Top..

Thanks everyone, I have logged a request for this.

Cheers
