Widgets stop working after Matinee Plays

It seems that after a Matinee plays in the level, every widget on the screen stops accepting mouse input except one, which was the last widget that was created.

Prior to playing the Matinee, all widgets accept mouse input.
This has been a recurring problem that has happened in multiple projects.
In the previous project I ended up simply combining all widgets into one, but with this project that is impossible because it is far to complex.
