Grass draws onto holes in landscape

If the user automatically places grass within the material section of their terrain material utilizing the grass node, that grass will appear on holes painted into the visibility of the terrain as well as the surround

Create a basic landscape with a regular material as well as a hole material
Create a hole
Add a grass output
Add a basic grass to that node

I was able to reproduce this and have entered a bug report, UE-18612, to be assessed by the development staff.

The workaround is to multiply your grass weight input by a Landscape Visibility Mask node in your material:
