I wanted to ask for some pointers on how to create a specific effect in Unreal 4 for a Project i'm doing for my Masters Degree.
Basically I want to create an effect that is similar to the Resident Evil games of old, where the backgrounds were 2D and the 3D Characters seamlessly interacted with them.
The process I want to use right now is lay down some invisible BSP geometry (as walk planes) and have fixed camera's placed about the map at various cinematic angles. What i'm wondering is if its possible to pump an Image or a Texture over the camera but still allow the player to be visible on screen to create this illusion?
Any help that you can offer ASAP will be greatly appreciated. I really require the help of you guys right now. Very stressed...
