Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

[Closed] Cannot connect to Perforce with SSL on Linux

I'm trying to connect to my perforce server that uses SSL and seems like that is broken, someone in the #ue4linux irc channel said it works without SSL, but I can't modify the server since is not my own server

This is what I get

 [2015.07.18-01.26.00:872][664]LogSourceControl:Error: P4ERROR: Invalid connection to server.
 [2015.07.18-01.26.00:872][664]LogSourceControl:Error: Connect to server failed; check $P4PORT.
 Fail create ctx on .
 NetSslTransport::SslClientInit SSL_CTX_new: error:140A90C4:SSL routines:SSL_CTX_new:null ssl method passed: Success

Hey varomix-

Since this is the same thing being handled in the other post you commented on (https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/240873/buglinuxperforcefails-to-connect-to-source-control.html) I am going to close this post to focus attention in one place. You can find more information about this at the linked thread.
