Help with World Machine tiled world Export

Hello I’ve exported my terrain from World Machine with these settings

However when I import the tiled landscape, its only importing 1 tile.

Can anyone help me with this problem? it should be 16x16 tiles

Did you click on ‘Tiled build’ (the green button to the right of the yellow button) in World Machine before exporting? You might have only built a single heightmap for the entire map instead of letting World Machine do a tiled build.

In case you did do a tiled export, check if the exported folder contains multiple .r16 files, and select them all when importing them into UE4, starting with the first one.

There is also a World Machine to UE4 macro available on the WM site, it’s harder to use but easier for exporting different heightmaps.

And lastly I don’t know what kind of system you are running World Machine on and how many generators and filters are set up, but the estimated memory requirement for rendering is already at 25GB.

Exporting a 200x200KM2 map at 8192 res is going to take some serious time :slight_smile: especially with erosion.
