hi i need help with my unreal engine install it always says it can not create the directory i am using windows 8

Try the suggestions in this section of the troubleshooting guide.

If nothing works for you, follow the steps towards the bottom of that link to generate your Debug Logs. Post them here, along with your Dxdiag (System Specs).
