Engine: Launch, Fatal error: attempt to build nav collision data for

I simply imported a default model into engine from Blender. Then when I tried to launch game, this message shows up every time, and I could not launch game.
Could anyone tell me how to fix this?
Thank you!

I have same trouble too )=

Hi ALTWang,

We moved this post into Bug Reports section, and assigned a member of our team to look into it for you. They will post here if they need any additional information. Thanks!

Thank you!

I just did move all my meshes in one folder and press build few times and it helped, try it. But it’s definitely bug…

Hi ,

Does this occur if you import your mesh into a clean, blank project with no additional content or is it limited to one project in particular? What steps are you taking to reproduce this on your end?

It’s happening in any project, including new clean projects.

What steps do you take before this occurs? Is mesh in your level or in content browser only? Does this occur with any other meshes?

I found that this problem is happening because mesh I import into UE4 doesnt have collision data, I applied collision to my mesh in my 3D software, and re-import into engine, it seems solved this error.

Hi ,

We have not heard from you in several days. I am marking this as answered for tracking purposes. If you are still experiencing this error, please comment back with requested information.

Hi there! I have same problem. I am using only a box mesh imported from 3dsmax. I tried with autocollision, with a UCX mesh from max, and also removing collision and generating a new one in UE4. fatal error stills there… Any idea?

Hi RodrigoMW,

Which engine version are you using and what steps are you taking to import box into editor? Does this occur in a clean, blank project with no additional content? Is it limited to one object?

I had same problem, I’ve managed to fix it. thing was that in my static mesh I had “nav collision” set to none but “has navigation data” was set to true, disabling “has navigation data” solved it I guess if you add “nav collision” it will fix problem as well. Hopefully this will help others having same issue
