What are GameplayTags

I’ve seen GameplayTags many times while poking through the source code but have no real idea how I can utilize them. I saw a brief description in the documentation that they are used for “Hierarchical tables of text-based tags”… My initial through is this has to do with “tagging” assets in the browser but from other questions on the topic It seem much more, possibly dealing with data import from various sources.

Ive never used them personally but if theyre anything like unity, then they can be referred to in a script

From what I’ve read, (mostly questions from other people) that is definatly a possibility. I’m just really currious was to what they are, are they utilized in the editor, and/or can they be utilized in game development/play.

I would like to know this too.
