Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Material Editor Color Const always outputs in sRGB

Having a color issue here. I'm trying to recreate (1,0.43,0) inside the engine, but always getting an output value converted to sRGB.

Here is an editor with the correct sample on top (sampled from a texture) and an incorrect sample at the bottom (using a constant):

false negative

For comparison, here is that example for the constant color picker with sRGB turned on (shows the correct output value, but not the one I wanted):

true negative

Engine: 4.8.

Product Version: UE 4.8

Hi FakeLoverOmer -

Thank You for your report. This is a known issue with the Color Picker and our developers are currently working on a solution that will correct a few different issues with the color picker, this particular one included.
