Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Can not create a C++ project

I recently downloaded unreal engine and visual studio 2015 community. When I go to create a new C++ project it says I need to install visual studio 2013. Is there a way to use the 2015 version? If so, how can I make it so that I can create a new project?

I read somewhere that 2015 is not compatible with the current version of the unreal engine so I went and uninstalled it to try and get the 2013 version. When I went looking for it all that happens to be around is the 2015 version and when I click the install visual studio 2013 button in the create new c++ project menu nothing happens. What do I do?

Left hand side, below the 2015 option there is 'visual studio downloads'.

2013 is in there.

Yea, I tried that but the button doesn't do anything. I ended up finding the 2013 and it works fine now. Thank you.
