Respawning a Player in Blueprints

Step 5 can not be performed - when you drag wire from Third Person Character slot to Target slot of bind event node
you…you basically can not link them it says “Third Person Character Reference is not compatible with self reference”

Also you can not call Respawn Event! You just cant create this node. (Step 13)

Step 5 is still an issue in 4.12, but I can create the respawn node (step 13) just fine.
