Why cant i save after simply Re-importing my updated mesh
Can't save G:/Unreal Projects/Moped/Content/Mesh/LightPole.uasset: Graph is linked to private object(s) in an external package. External Object(s): FbxStaticMeshImportData_4 SceneThumbnailInfo_1
Try to find the chain of references to that object (may take some time)?
I keep Getting this error.
when i try to save my current project. ive looked up other similar problems but they all refer to a blueprint object. this is a static mesh with simple materials built with only textures. i changed some things with the light map and re-imported and got this. i imported as a totally new mesh. same problem.

Hey thanks for the reply. I just fixed it. I simply Closed the project. Went into theunreal engine asset foder and removed the .uasset of the object giving trouble. Reopened the project and imported the new mesh. Then everything was perfect. Thanks again!
