Can't duplicate a StaticMesh in BluePrint

I need to duplicate a StaticMesh in a blue print, but when I do it, nothing appears, just a gizmo in the center of the world that I can’t move. The only way I found is add a new StaticMesh to the BP and set it like the other.

My workmates have the same problem.

We think that this is a bug, but maybe we are doing something wrong.

Greetings.

i have this same problem some times the mesh does not appear at all, sometimes the mesh appears in the distance, but still can’t move it. and rarely it works fine.

Hello ,

I was able to reproduce this issue on our end by using the Ctrl+W command. However, I then used Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V and I found that this did not produce the same issue. There is also a known issue with using the right click and duplicate method (this method can be fixed by compiling the blueprint). I have written up a report (UE-19388) for the issue with the shortcut and I have submitted it to the developers for further consideration. I will provide updates with any pertinent information as it becomes available. Thank you for your time and information.

If it turns out that you are using a method other than that that was reported please let me know and I will assist you further.

Make it a great day
