Is particle size locked by XY Axes?

I have Locked Axes set to EDVLF_none, but I cannot make none-square particles with any of the size modules. Is it all supposed to be locked to XY? Could somebody check if it’s supposed to work please?

Have you changed your screen alignment on the required module to Rectangle?
